About Me
The moment I was big enough to crawl onto a stool and reach the kitchen counter, my great-aunt Josie began teaching me the art of cooking. Josie taught me how to cook family dinners that nourished the soul and the tummy. She also gave me plenty of creative space to experiment with everything from cookies to fried chicken. Ever since I created my first meal, I’ve been fascinated with food and how it can affect you both emotionally and physically.
Now in my 30s, I’ve decided to take my passion up a notch with this blog which, will hopefully be just the tip of the iceberg. I have big plans for myself if the food gods will allow!
I’m a Southern girl by birth and heart, but I currently live in New York with my husband. Michael is a real team player because he’s always willing to be the guinea pig when it comes to my ideas and musings with food. I love all types of food and am constantly wanting to try new dishes as well as create old favorites.
